Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' prior marriages. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria region in London. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in shows. In her 16th year, she quit school and pursued a career as an actress full time. From a young age Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her dream came true after she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
