Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A star who strayed completely from traditional music into pop culture, becoming an iconic pop star that is set to be around forever, and will conquer everywhere. Swift shed country like it was another layer, showing that she's perhaps the smartest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. One who can harness the mood of times to make her music personal and also sing in the other direction. These skills were evident on her early hits including the neo-tribute Tim McGraw but her second album in 2008's Fearless showed a writer discovering who she was and in the process finding a mass audience. The album was a huge success, not just in America, but also with six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story and I Belong with Me were the primary reasons behind this. However, it did very well across the globe. Swift could build on her popularity through Speak Now almost two year later. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), her popularity increased and she found herself in a world of pop music in which it became clear she was a part of. Although she slowed down her production with folklore, and Evermore releases in 2020 she was still leading the way in pop music.
